Head winemaking, Attilio Pagli is considered one of the best winemakers in the world. Pagli studied at the Technical Agrarian Institute of Siena, Italy and initially arrived in Mendoza in 1992 to advise on a Sangiovese project.  After his arrival he soon discovered the vines were not Sangiovese, but Malbec and he uncovered the enormous opportunity to bring Malbec to the center stage.
